From bus/metro station "Rond Point du Prado" to DIS 2013

  • Bus lines 19, 21, 21S, 21jet, 22, 22S, 23, 41S, 44, 45, 73, 83.

Map based on information on RTM website.

The map at the left (click to enlarge) shows the surroundings of the Palais de Congrès and the main entrance of Parc Chanot with the bus/metro station Rond Point du Prado ("Prado roundabout"). The underground station of Metro line 2 has two exits, Rond Point du Prado (North) and Michelet (South). The North exit is the shortest way to the main entrance (Porte A) of Parc Chanot from the roundabout.

Also note — in particular, if coming by foot — the geographic peculiarity of "Avenue du Prado", which is coming from the town center in the North and makes an 85° turn at the roundabout to the beach at the West.

Please do not hesitate to contact any member of the local organiser team if in doubt. You recognise them easily from their badge. Once you got your conference documents, please wear your badge throughout the whole conference and also at the outside venues for welcome cocktail and conference dinner.

All meeting rooms used by DIS 2013 can all be reached in less than a minute from the building entrance. The large auditorium (Monday, Friday) is located in the annex building, whereas the parallel meeting rooms (Tuesday to Thursday) are located on the two floors in the same building as the registration desk.

Please note that there will be no power plugs in the Auditorium so it will be impossible to charge your laptop during the plenary sessions. The parallel session rooms will be equipped with a limited number of power plugs and a charging table will be installed in each room.
