Conference Dinner

Wednesday, April 24th, 2013 at 19:30

The conference dinner will be organised in a famous castle of Marseille: Palais du Pharo (built by Napoleon III for his wife Eugenie), situated on a magnificent location on the entry of the old harbor (visible on the right on the conference poster). Visits of the castle will be organised starting 19h00.

Tickets (conference participants and accompanying persons only) need to be purchased online at the time of registration. No booking on site!

Dinner room: Espace Vieux Port, a magnificent view of the city and the sea.

Directions

The Palais du Pharo is situated on the borders of the Vieux Port.

If you are coming directly from the conference centre, then we recommend you to take the bus line 83 which has a very picturesque trajectory along the coastline (approx. 45 minutes, until Le Pharo).

Another option is to take the metro to "Vieux-Port/Hotel-de-Ville", then walk 25 min along the old harbor. The map on googlemaps can be found here.

Take the entrance Jardin du Pharo and follow the line as indicated on the photo below. Foresee a bit of spare time for a guided visit of the Palais and take some photos (guided visits of the castle will be organised starting 19h00).

For your return to the hotels in the evening several shuttle busses will be provided to the most prominent places nearby your hotels.
